The Isle of Wight needs bold and brave decisions to move forward, alongside protecting our beautiful countryside and coastline. After volunteering as a parish and town councillor on the island for the last ten years, I am ready to serve in the role as county councillor for our community. Carisbrooke and Gunville is steeped in heritage, but is also vulnerable to flooding and the impact of big housing developments, plus the challenges stemming from inequalities in our society. As a secondary school teacher I am ambitious for everyone on our island and I promise to work hard. This is my first IW Council election.
