My name is Ross Caruana and I am the Reform candidate for Ryde Appley & Elmfield
I first arrived on the Isle of Wight in 2005 for what was supposed to be a two-week holiday. Like so
many who visit our beautiful Island, I fell in love with the community and never left. After initially
settling in Shanklin, I transferred to the Ryde Somerfield store in 2007 and moved into a flat on
Union Street. I have called Ryde my home ever since.
For nearly nineteen years, I have lived and worked across the Island, and I have spent the last
eleven years rooted in the same house here in the community. Currently, I am working in retail, a
role that keeps me connected to the hard-working rhythm of our town and the people who keep it
running.
I am standing as the Reform UK candidate for Ryde Appley and Elmfield because I believe our
town deserves a representative who truly understands the day-to-day lives of its residents. Ryde has
given me a home for nearly two decades, and now I want to give something back. I am committed
to making a real difference and ensuring that the voices of Appley and Elmfield are heard loud and
clear.
