I am standing as an Independent, believing that local decisions should be made by and for those that live here and not according to the policy of a national political party.
I’m keenly focussed on preserving the beauty of our West Wight as we emerge from the pandemic, by ensuring development meets the needs of local people and by maintaining key services. Since moving permanently to Totland 16 years ago many know of my deep support for a wide range of local community charities, of my leading the local walking group and serving as a magistrate on the family bench supporting IOW children.
I’m so passionate about making positive change in our community that I’ll donate 100% of my Councillor Allowance to a Totland & Colwell Fund to invest in local regeneration, businesses and young people.
