I was born and brought up in Sandown and my family ran a Boarding House back in the 1960/70s when tourism was booming. I remember those times but recognise tourism has changed significantly since then.
After a successful Army career and lived in different countries around the world. Upon returning to Sandown I wanted to help Sandown’s community. I got involved in several organisations and eventually got elected to the IW Council and Sandown Town Council. I was honoured to be elected as Sandown Mayor for two years and Chairman of the IW Council two years. My primary aim is the economic regeneration of our town.
