Jenny Hicks is a local grandmother who regularly volunteers for community projects around the Bay Area, including Sandown in Bloom and fundraising for the carnival. From 2021-25, Jenny served her community on both Lake Parish Council & Sandown Town Council where she was responsible for youth provision – advocating for youth and community projects.
Jenny says: “As a Labour Councillor I will address the problems with the hazardous road layout of the Fairway/Lake Hill Junction and utilise the opportunities offered by devolution & the creation of the Mayoral Authority to improve bus services for Islanders.”
