I’m standing as a candidate for Wroxall, Lowtherville & Bonchurch because I care deeply about
these communities and the future of the Isle of Wight.
I’m 20 years old and I’ve grown up here, so I understand both the pride people feel in our villages,
the special lifestyle we have here in the southern part of the Island, and the challenges many of us
face every day.
It sometimes feels like decisions are made without young people in mind, but many of us want to
contribute too. I feel I can bring a fresh perspective to the council. I’m a hard worker and I want to
bring that energy into representing you.
I also believe we need more young people to get involved and help shape the future of the Island. If
given the chance to prove ourselves, we can all achieve great things. We need new ideas and
different perspectives to ensure everyone is represented.
If we want to build a better future, we can’t just wait for change to happen, we have to be part of
making it happen. I want to represent this ward with my characteristic drive and determination, with
a clear focus on building a future where young people and working families can stay, succeed, and
feel hopeful about their life here on the Isle of Wight!
