Carol Brown

I moved to our wonderful island 20 years ago from Gibraltar. I worked on the Rock in financial services and my late husband, and I also ran a small business, a local shop that served the Upper Rock residents.

Since coming to live on the Isle of Wight I have been Treasurer of the Conservative Ladies Lunch Club for 17 years. Over the years our club has raised considerable funds for the Conservative Party and for many local charities. I am also an enthusiastic volunteer in the Box Office at Shanklin Theatre, where I have worked for the past 14 years and seen the theatre go from strength to strength.  I love this Island and want it to thrive under a Conservative Council. Hi, 5 years ago, I was elected by the 2,600 residents of Mountjoy and Shide ward to represent every one of them on the Isle of Wight Council.
