My name is Ros Freeman and I am standing as the Reform UK candidate for Lake South in the local elections on May 7th.
I have lived on the Island for eight years, and like many of you, I see first-hand how tough things have become. The cost of living keeps rising, local people are being squeezed, and too often it feels like those in charge are out of touch with everyday life.
I left school at 15 and worked my way up through determination and hard work. I have built businesses from the ground up and continue to run a local business here on the Island. That means I speak to people every day – families, workers and small business owners who are all saying the same thing: it’s getting harder to make ends meet.
I am standing for Lake South because I want to support as much as I can the residents, small businesses and self-employed. I am not a politician; I am a mum with three grown-up children and six grandchildren, all of whom work very hard. I value family life and the importance of supporting Lake South, and although I can’t promise to fix everything, I will do my best for you and the community.
