Paul Andrew Fuller

ABOUT ME:
I have two grown up children Caelan and Zara. I was raised in Gurnard, with my family living in Cowes for generations. I came home to give my family the same opportunities I had growing up.

MY TRACK RECORD:
2026 is my 31st year as an Independent Councillor, representing Cowes West and Gurnard as County Councillor since 2009. I also serve as a Parish Councillor for Gurnard and Northwood and as a Cowes Town Councillor. In the last 5 years, I have relayed/resolved over 9,000 enquiries.

MAKING MYSELF AVAILABLE:
I am contactable 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and aim to deal with local enquiries within 12 hours. I meet at residents convenience not mine, and am the only IW Councillor to hold weekly surgeries.

BEING INDEPENDENT:
It is important for Council’s to listen to and put our communities first. I have no activists, businesses, sponsors or leader following me, so my loyalty to represent Cowes and Gurnard first is absolute. If I get things wrong, I am directly accountable to you!

INCLUSIVENESS:
In my time as Councillor, I have built up a strong network of residents who act as my eyes and ears and support me with their knowledge and expertise.

BEING TRANSPARENT:
I write monthly reports through my website, edited for local magazines. I also provide Annual Reports to ensure residents are updated on priorities I follow.

IF RE-ELECTED MY PROMISES ARE:
To be hardworking, effective and accessible
To listen, and do my very best to support you
To put the needs of Cowes and Gurnard first

As a Councillor I will not fob residents off, and will continue to be conscientious and hands-on fighting for our community.

The reason why I do this, is because I thoroughly enjoy it. I hope it shows and I continue to achieve the right outcomes!
